Michael Jackson was one of the most empowered people whom I looked up to because he seemed to have tapped into his MaxPower in the music industry. He was at the top of his game and I often wondered how he could stay so focused. I soon realized that he was 100 plus committed to his industry and to his fans.
When a person is committed, they are all in and nothing is going to stop them from attaining their goals. They take everything they have and put all of it to work on that one thing that they love. I know a few more people like Michael who were 100 percent committed, but isn't it true that we know far too many more people that are not committed to living to their full potential? I still wrestle with that notion, but I know that if I want to realize my goals and be one of the better, if not the best writer of positive information, I have got to be 100 percent committed. If I want to be the very best husband, father, brother, etc. I have to make that same commitment.
Imagine if most of us took an attitude of changing our 50 percent commitment to something positive and gave it 100 percent- wow, the results would be amazing. In some companies, they are 100 percent committed to their employees and go the extra mile in order to have them commit 100 percent to them. What a concept.
What we know is that commitment works and it works when you have a definite plan to make it work. It takes setting attainable goals, accountability, vision, re-vision, and a whole bunch of guts! That is why only about 2 percent of people stick with their New Years resolutions and some people don't make them because they can't commit to anything.
With all my commitment to you and with Love,
