Why would anyone want to celebrate themselves often? Isn't this a bit narcissistic and selfish? That's what we asked when we first heard this and we learned that there is a big difference! Narcissism is doing things at any cost to bring attention to yourself whether positive or negative. And being selfish is being aware that you are the most important person in your life! Well, doesn't that still sound like being conceded? In a way, but we want to challenge your idea of what we mean by being selfish. Becoming aware your inner power requires self focus- an inner journey within. Many call it soul searching or creating your true self.
When you finally become aware that everything in your life is a result because of you, then it's you who you will turn to for answers. You can then take full responsibility for everything that happens in your life! You set yourself free! Even a therapist will tell you that they are not there to fix you, they are there to guide you so that you can create your own solutions to your own experiences. Yes, you are that powerful- even some children realize this awareness of self early in their young lives and live in a way to best serve people.
So in realizing that you are ultimately creating your own lives, wouldn't it make sense to celebrate your ability to do so each day? Of course it would! Does this mean cake, balloons, and piñata? It sure can, it all depends on your imagination. We can celebrate all we want inside our minds-it is limitless. And when we learn to be comfortable with celebrating ourselves inside our minds, we shift our mindset to one of gratitude! And when you live in gratitude, the Universe fills you with whatever you ask. Wow...
You are always connected to the Divine and joy is your birth right. Yes, God loves it when you exercise his will for us to live and exercise our will to live in joy and love. Go Get It and celebrate!
