Have you ever felt like escaping and just running away to the ends of the world- to the end of your world because things just feel too heavy to handle? If you have- you are not alone! Sometimes it's okay to run- run away to someone you trust.
Below is a poem from our published book, "Words From Deeper Than the Soul" that pleads people to be aware of how our children our calling for help. Enjoy-
There are times that I ran to exercise voluntarily
And other times to ensure that my PE grade was an A primarily
But never did I dream that there was another type of running
A type that was mostly in your mind scorching it with fear, and rather stunning
With the healthy type of running, it filled my lungs with fresh oxygen
And with the mental type of running it filled my heart with pollution
With the running you do on your own, you can choose to speed up go slow or even come to a complete stop
When trying to run from the troubles in your mind you feel that it doesn't matter how fast or slow you go, cause you're still gonna drop
So parents and community take some time to applaud and reward those who perform well at the track meet
But also take extra time to notice if your child or someone else's child appears to be running towards defeat
Wanting only to run and make you proud like a normal son or daughter would
But instead they've come to the end of their options feeling emotionally empty and mis-understood
Listen to what they have to say, hug them tightly, but love them the most
Because they can only hang on for so long before you find yourself in front of their casket and remembering them only as a ghost...
With that said, "Put a little MaxPower into your life!"
