Of your life, do you ever wonder if what you see is really what you're looking at? Take for instance the picture used for this blog. What do you see? Did you see the old couple? Or did you immediately see the two villagers that make up the faces of the older couple? Life is similar in that sometimes you have to take a step back in order to see the full picture that is presenting itself at any given moment.
Sometimes, what we want to see, is not really what is in front of us. So somehow we convince ourselves that everything is okay without having to check further into what we believe to be true. We either listen to what has been fed to us to be true or we are convinced that somewhere within the project, reality will hit you in the face.
So we are creating the illusion that was fed to us about ourselves. We tend to believe the illusion of poverty, addiction, or hopelessness because that's the pattern of behavior that has been so ingrained in our brains. If we start to stray from this illusion, our sub-conscious mind goes to work on correcting your path and putting you on the illusion of yourself that you have bought into. This is how powerful your mind is. It wants to stick to the script that is based on the beliefs about yourself that you have held on so strongly to.
So if you guessed that you could substitute new beliefs in order to change the illusion of your life, you are absolutely right. Remember always that it took years to create and believe a certain illusion of yourself, so its going to take some work to substitute any new beliefs. But the good news is that you are in control of what illusion you want to believe in.
With that said, "Put a little MaxPower into your life!"
