Have you had any regrets? If you have, you are not alone! Many people express regrets regarding many aspects of their lives. Such as having said something hurtful, having struck someone in a hurtful way, cheated on someone, lied to someone or about something to someone, about choosing the wrong job, about not taking an opportunity, about eating something, about not eating, about drinking and driving, about not saying something more to keep someone from committing suicide, about not running for office, running for office, breaking up with special one, not breaking up soon enough,- etc., etc,. Etc.,
Regrets can weigh heavy on your mind, heart, and soul if you let them control your thoughts in such a way that is not healthy for you to move forward without reservation.
Jim Rohn stated that we shouldn't live in regrets, but instead embrace every experience as an opportunity To learn a life lesson! One must see the message in what we went through and be grateful that life put you through that experience so that you can learn something from that regardless of how extreme you might think it can be! There is a lesson even through death! We learn that death is the big equalizer and that it bridges the gap between rich and poor, black and white, educated or not!
We sometimes get lost in those regrets and we live every day trying to pay penance for them or trying to justify our choices instead of moving past them in a healthy way in order to fulfill your destiny.
The sad fact is that we get lost in fear, anger, and vengeance! These three emotions alone will keep you from living a life of purpose and will keep you as the victim you make yourself out to be! You will never be able to accept responsibility for your actions and therefore, remaining stuck in your thoughts of deep regret!
There are only a few that rise up and truly forgive and move past their sense of victimhood and exercise their right to live a life of empowerment and happiness!
With that said, "Put a little MaxPower into your life!"
