Hi MaxPower 2U nation! Do you often beat yourself up over things that happen in life? Today we will be discussing just that.
All of us at one point or another have not reached a certain goal and been hard or gotten down on ourselves. That happens. We are here to tell you that as hard as it is at times to not be disappointed by an outcome, you need not beat yourself up.
Instead, we would like for you to feel grateful for those experiences and look at them as the tools, directions, steps that you will now have at your disposable for now on. This in turn will make more of the outcomes you desire a reality.
The mindset that you should have when you lose a game, don't reach a quota, come up short on a fitness goal, or whatever else you can think of, is one of positivity and appreciation-not of self doubt, pity or anger. You must put yourself in the practice that no matter what the outcomes are in your life that you will be wiser, stronger, smarter and more well prepared the next time you are faced with anything.
Think about it! Every effort you make is only going to come with more knowledge and experience, which in turn should and will at many times become easier and more efficient the next time you make it. In the moment it might be difficult to think about that, as all everyone of us want is to accomplish our goal and have a positive outcome (what you might see as positive when in reality all outcomes are positive since they have educational and maturation qualities).
There is much to learn from all the outcomes we experience. The things that we learn from them help to make us stronger people capable of withstanding any circumstance.
So chin up and never hang your head, as the person you will become is reason enough to stand tall and be proud.
