Do you know someone who had made extraordinary progress toward a goal only to slow down, give up, or quit all together? Maybe even you have experienced one of these! It's happened to me on several occasions and I knew that it had to do with my fear of success. I often felt that I wasn't worthy or deserving of something good regardless of how much effort I had given it!
Buy why? Why do we work so hard, put in so many hours, invest so much money, make new friendships just to stop inches away from true success? Or do we? Is our success the same as others? No, of course not, but I'm talking about those who have specific and very clear goals written down, have an accountability partner, and even visuals of what they want to achieve. They are driven, highly disciplined, and gun ho up until the last week or even day and they just sabotage their success!
Why do you think that is? Is it fear of success? Is it? Its all about a Mindset! Which can be explained as what we believe to be true about ourselves and has been set in our minds like super glue that its almost close to impossible to set it free! The experts say that it has a lot to do with just this! They say that the internal voice inside your head is relentless with wanting to keep you where you've been comfortable for so long. Your sub-conscious talks to you non-stop and says, "Excuse me, who are you trying to be? We are this compladent person remember! Stop everything, we're moving into the unfamiliar and I don't know if I can take it!"
The great news is "that you have the power to take control of your mind!" You've always had it, but because we aren't taught how, we believe that we don't! We tend to blame things outside out our minds for why we are and how we exist, but it's all you! Yes- the responsibility for you lies inside of you and nowhere else! When this fact is 100% accepted by you- by recognizing the power of your choices, the fun can begin!
The keys to breaking through self sabotage and to create a new self image is :
1. Learning how to get control of your internal chatter.
2. Recognize that you are the thinker
3. Challenge your thoughts- self image
4. Meditate and get in tune with a new self image
5. Practice this process for 30 days or until you see success straight morning and evening
