Do you ever wonder why as a parent you say things you regret to your children when you want to say things that can empower them?
Well, it's probably because FEAR got the best of you! Yes, we usually let fear bring out the hurtful and harmful language that was said to us when we made pretty bad mistakes as kids! We fear that maybe they haven't learned that we as parents are the authority not to be disobeyed. We fear that maybe they will learn not to need us as much and then what do we do with ourselves. We fear that maybe they will end up in prison and shame our name!
If we say things out if love, it may mean that you truly love them out of pure love! Or If you say positive things that will help their self esteem each and everyday because you want them to grow up confident it's out of love. Or maybe you use encouraging words that may help heal a fragile heart and soul.
What if you can use positive words without being afraid anytime you address your children- would you? The truth is, is that you have always been able to! It's just a choice. Make a choice to love your children and use words that will empower them always.
With that said, "Pit a little MaxPower into your life!"
