Hi MaxPower 2U nation! Today we want to bring up something that separates most people from reaching success or not.
Work ethic is something in life that you cannot fake. You can't pay someone to do it for you, and you can't have someone give it to you. It's something that you just do because it's a part of who you are and it is impossible to separate the two.
Work ethic is something that should always be pumping through your veins and it should demonstrate itself in more places than just your work. Whether that be around the house or the yard, family duties, daily care, recreational hobby, etc. When you talk about work ethic, you must talk about it as if it were something as important as air and water. Without air and water one cannot survive, and that's how you must think of work ethic.
No other way of approaching your work, career, job, etc. should ever cross your mind. Those that try and cut corners or take the easy way out will never know the true satisfaction and joy one gets when the fruits of their labor show themselves.
With work ethic, immediate gratification and reward will not always come, but the long terms rewards that will be had are what matter most. Enjoying a sustainable and happy life without having to depend on others will be the best reward you ever received. And though it may take some of you more than just a few years to attain the success and rewards that come with exercising a marathon man's work ethic, this will be the key to assuring true happiness and a MaxPotential!
A strong work ethic will also serve to tell everyone that you are a loyal person that follows through on tasks. People will be able to depend on you and you on them.
Without knowing that you're doing it, your work ethic will be speaking for you even when you're not speaking. All those around you with the same work ethic will notice you and be drawn to you. And as your circle of hard working people grows, so will your long term success.
Keep in mind, work ethic is not just something you can pick up. It's something that you must work at day in and day out until you get it just right. It's something we all should pass on and remind our children of. Because as they say, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste," so to should they say, "A work ethic is terrible thing not to have."
With that said,
"Put a little MaxPower in your life!"
