Write your own story-
Hello MaxPower 2U nation! Today's blog is titled, "Write your own story." When we say this, we mean it exactly as it sounds. In the quest and pursuit of success and your MaxPotential, you must write your own story. There are countless people in this world that have been either conditioned, pressured or expected to be or become a certain way or person when they become an adult. Not to say that some of these things are all bad and that you will not be happy or successful, but once you realize where your heart truly lies you must stay true to it, even it means some turmoil or tension with your friends and loved ones-especially your parents. This is also not to say that in order to show your loved ones that despite what they would like for you that you rebel against them and choose a career out of spite or to prove a point. What we are saying is that in the delicate and bumpy dance of figuring out your future career, you must be able to manage and balance staying true and loyal to your loved ones while also choosing the path that best defines you and ultimately will make you happy. To be able to follow in the footsteps of parents and family members is very special and honorable, but if you do follow in those footsteps, make certain that it is exactly what will help you be successful and reach your MaxPotential. If following the footsteps of family and tradition get in the way of these things, you must make the conscious effort to start creating the path towards them. Following family footsteps will make them proud, but will you truly be proud of it? In order to write your own story and reach ultimate success and MaxPotential, you must take a very action oriented and conscious approach to your daily life. You must be able to understand that there will be moments of awkwardness, discomfort, tension, frustration from others and from yourself as well. The road to success is not always a pretty one, but at least you can say that you wrote your story yourself and no one else did.
With that said,
"Put a little MaxPower in your life!"
