You did that on purpose-I know you did! Have you ever heard this line or have you you ever said this to anyone? If you are like most of us, you probably have! This is when we start convincing ourselves that people can have definite plans to do what they do!
Yes- early in our lives we start wondering what, how, and why we humans do what we do. We look at our parents/guardians and we start to wonder why they do the type of work they do, why they chose it, and how does it make them the person that they become.
We also wonder why they married the person they did, why they only had one child or twelve, why they go to that church etc. It is normal for us to start wondering- did they do it on purpose? Lol.
Purpose is a set of strong beliefs that determines why, how, what, where, when about us! Ask yourself, "Why do I do what I do? Or if your younger, "Why do I want to do what I want to pursue?" You will quickly get a glimpse of your purpose if you can answer this question from a place of service. In other words, "Is what I am doing serving society as a whole?" Even a person who sweeps the sidewalks can find great purpose as a Dean of a University can as well. It all depends how they see what they do is part of the purpose they hold in their mind based on their beliefs about themselves.
Every school mission statement has the words "To prepare each student to become a productive citizen in society!" This is a grand purpose for educators and can keep them focused on the bigger task at hand. Same with every hospital, military installation, corporate center, food market, etc!
You will take on a journey to find your own purpose, but if you are aligned with what your passion is, what your bigger vision is, and if its based on providing value to this world, then you are on the right path! Your purpose can definitely evolve in to bigger and more responsibility, but the outcome will be the same, to provide value to this world while you are privileged to have life on this Earth!
With that said, "Put a little MaxPower into your life!"
